I was born in Egypt and was raised between there and North Carolina. I grew up poor then was the first to go to college in my family. I’ve seen the power tech has to improve lives yet greatly limit the ways I use it. I make to think but I love a good spreadsheet. I’m raising kids while re-discovering my inner kid.

Currently at The Holding Co. designing for the future of care, previously doing brand + strategy at West, designing products and services at IDEO San Francisco, Cambridge, Munich, and Mumbai, and making films and animations at Red Hat. Somewhere in between all of that I worked as an independent design consultant, worked on a comic book, and designed a line of t-shirts. I live in Petaluma, CA with my wife and 2 kids.
